A lovely country pub, with a good selection of well kept real ales, the Hare & Hounds is a wonderful place to visit. The food is superb; proper pub grub! With a quiz every other Tuesday, it's also a regular venue for the Horsham 4x4 Off Road club and the American Motorcycle Owners club.
My wife and I had our wedding reception here, and a 28 person roast dinner was no trouble for Terri and Keith, the welcoming proprietors.
The Hare & Hounds also partake in a variety of local pub game leagues, including darts, bar billiards, and Pub pentathlon (If you need to ask, you need to visit).

There's no tele here, so if you're after the footy, move along.

Useful stop for lunch/meal on the way to/from Gatwick. Also serves the same purpose on trips to Leonardslee Gardens or Nymans. Really excellent food and the clarity/taste of their ales is superb. Nice well kept garden area. We always use it when dropping/collecting from the airport. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
    A real pleasure!!

Lovely local pub with delicious food. The sea trout was exceptional - the fish was super fresh & flavorful & the creamy leeks melted in your mouth. The semi-freddo Eton Mess was a tasty end to an incredible meal. Kudos to Chef Benoit & his lovely wife, Charlotte. Highly recommended.

Not a bad little pub serving an excellent selection of real ales and home cooked food. It is on a bit of a busy road though so sitting outside at the front isn't the best.

It is a bit of a local's pub but they are generally a friendly bunch. Mainly farmers and local builders.

They do run a really good quiz on a Tuesday night which is worth getting involved in. The sandwiches are a really good lunch option - nice and fresh and huge in size!
